Throwback Thursday – A poem inspired by nature’s beauty

If we stop to appreciate it, nature’s beauty provides a tonic for the soul…a temporary respite from the ills of the world. Today’s Throwback Thursday post describes one of those moments.

I’m not a poet but a Vancouver Island sunrise during our summer vacation in 2023 inspired me to write my very first poem. Check out today’s Throwback Thursday post to read the poem and see the images of nature’s beauty that inspired it.
