And, just like that, it’s December! Are you excited for Christmas? I’m holding out hope that this year’s festive season will be an improvement over 2020. Turning the page on the calendar to December means it’s also the first day of Blogmas 2021. Last year, I participated in Blogmas for the first time. It was so much fun that I’ve decided to do it again.
Today, I’ll kick things off with a roundup of my favourite posts from last year’s Blogmas and a sneak peek at what’s to come this year.
What is Blogmas?
If you’re not familiar with Blogmas, it’s a blogging challenge that involves posting daily in December. There are different variations of Blogmas but, like last year, I’ll be participating in the Advent calendar style Blogmas. I’ll post every day between December 1 and 24. After that, I’ll take a break and return in the New Year.

That’s awesome, Michelle! Looking forward to referring back to these posts during the holidays!! I was going to participate but I don’t think I’d have the stamina but cudos to those that do!! Can’t wait to follow along 🙂
Thank you. I hope you find them helpful. Blogmas is a lot of work but I’m seeing the payback from last year’s Blogmas now as I’m getting a lot of views on last year’s posts from search engines and Pinterest.
Oh exciting and ambitious! Good luck!
Thanks. I have about half the content written and scheduled so it shouldn’t be too bad.
I have your post, Fun gift exchange ideas for groups, saved from last year. I hope to be able to use these ideas this year.
We decided to do a recycled gift exchange again with my husband’s family this year. Good thing I set aside a few items from my decluttering.
I’d forgotten you did this last year, but remember a lot of the posts on your list. I enjoyed them and am looking forward to what’s brewing for this year 🙂
Thanks Alison. Blogmas is fun and I really noticed an increase in traffic over the last couple of months as people have been searching for Christmas stuff and finding last year’s posts.
Congrats & good luck with blogmas. can’t wait to read your posts.
Thank you Helen. I find Blogmas is a nice change of pace—even if it is a little hectic.
