Two years ago today, I pressed publish on my first blog post. At the time, I had no idea what I was doing or if I’d be able to keep the blog going. Two years on, I can’t imagine life without this blog. It has been a lifeline and creative outlet during the pandemic when I desperately needed the distraction.

Blogging is a lot of work! Although I’ve been blogging for almost 2 years, I usually stay away from writing posts like this because I don’t think of myself as a blogging expert. But, I do consider myself an organizing expert so this is one area where I can share my expertise with the blogging community.
One year ago today, I celebrated my birthday by publishing my first blog post. To celebrate my first blogiversary, I’m looking back at what I’ve done in the last year. I’ll also reflect on learnings from my first year of blogging and share some tips for new bloggers that I wish I had known a year ago.
