Throwback Thursday – Every Child Matters

Every Child Matters! September 30 is Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Also known as Orange Shirt Day, it’s a day to remember the Indigenous children who never made it home from Canada’s residential schools.

Today’s Throwback Thursday post is from 2021. It contains the history of Orange Shirt Day and highlights from a talk from its founder, Phyllis Webstad.
