Tiny forests, also known as microforests, are taking root in communities all over the world. Today, I’m delighted to share a guest post I wrote on this topic for Happy Eco News.
Vancouver-based Happy Eco News is one of my favourite sites for positive environmental news. I’m always excited when their weekly email pops up in my Inbox on Monday mornings. I was thrilled when they contacted me in December to see if I’d be interested in writing a guest post for their site. Of course, I gratefully accepted the opportunity.
The piece I wrote is an updated version of a post I published for the Climate Change Collective last year about my experience with a local microforest project. Tiny forests are an idea with big potential. You might just find one near you.
Please drop by the Happy Eco News site to read my article. While you’re there, subscribe to their weekly e-mail newsletter. It’s full of inspirational stories from around the world about people and companies that are making a difference. There’s no better way to combat climate anxiety!
