Reducing waste and living more sustainably starts with one easy swap at a time. This month’s goal in the Year of monthly waste reduction goals challenge is making laundry day plastic free. It’s another easy change that will make a big difference over time.

Make your laundry day plastic free
One of the early goals in my waste reduction journey was to eliminate laundry supplies in plastic jugs. This has been one of the easiest changes I have made. I have transitioned to a completely plastic-free laundry routine over the last couple of years. In addition to reducing waste, these changes save money and are better for my clothes. A definite win!

Hopefully, it’s just a few more weeks until the weather warms up and I can start drying my laundry outside. Then I will know it’s really spring. I can’t wait!
