March goal – Make your laundry day plastic free

Reducing waste and living more sustainably starts with one easy swap at a time. This month’s goal in the Year of monthly waste reduction goals challenge is making laundry day plastic free. It’s another easy change that will make a big difference over time.

One of the early goals in my waste reduction journey was to eliminate laundry supplies in plastic jugs. This has been one of the easiest changes I have made. I have transitioned to a completely plastic-free laundry routine over the last couple of years. In addition to reducing waste, these changes save money and are better for my clothes. A definite win!
