Throwback Thursday – Earth Day roundup to inspire your celebration

Earth Day is coming up on Saturday. It’s a day to reflect, get involved and do some good for our planet. For Throwback Thursday this week, I’m sharing an Earth Day roundup of posts from previous years.

In 2020, I celebrated Earth Day’s 50th birthday with two posts. As we were in the early days of the pandemic, I shared 15 ways to celebrate Earth Day without leaving home. As a bonus, I shared a second post with photos from five of my favourite places on Earth.

I followed that up in 2021 with “Every Day Is Earth Day”, a beautiful poem by my dear friend Pat Keachie, along with a roundup of some of my favourite green living posts.

In 2022, I shared things to read, watch and do on Earth Day for inspiration on ways to help the planet.

I hope the posts in my Earth Day roundup with give you some ideas of simple things you can do every day to help our planet.

Hi there! I’m Michelle and I live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I am married with two young adult daughters. I’m a big fan of reducing waste, using less plastic, decluttering and simplifying life as much as possible.
